I am glad that my mom sent me to live at Barium Springs, but I hated it at first. I miss all of my friends, but I know that if I can learn to deal with my feelings and act appropriately, then I can go back home. My mom and I meet with a therapist a lot, and talk about feelings and other stuff we've never talked about before.

It's pretty cool going to school at Barium Springs where there are only a few kids in my classroom. If I need help I can just raise my hand and the teacher is available to help me on the spot. We do lots of fun activities that make the day fly by and we are learning a lot. We like it here, but we hope that we will be able to go back to school with our friends next year.

I like going to school here. They teach me lots of things, like how to write my name and sing my ABC's. I have lots of friends in my class and I love my teachers. They are very nice and show us how to paint and draw. They told me that I can go to Kindergarten soon and ride the school bus.
