On our tour, you’ll get an inside look at how we help abused and neglected children, low income families, children needing therapy and many other ways we help the community. You'll get to experience what life is like in a group home by walking through a home and learning about our Teaching-Family model of care. You’ll learn about the obstacles some of our youth face every day and how we encourage them to overcome these challenges. And finally, you’ll learn about our vision for the future and the increased needs of children throughout our state. You'll walk away with a real appreciation for the committed efforts of our staff and you'll be forever changed by your visit.
We offer two different tour locations:
Main Campus Tour located in Barium Springs, NC
Tours are typically held on the 1st and 3d Thursday of the month at 9:00 am. This tour meets at Little Joe’s then travels across campus to our group homes and alternative school. Tours are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 11:00 am. This tour meets at the Kulynych Family Life Center then travels to Kulynych Cottage and Templeton Cottage.
